The Indian summer arrives in Tarragona with highs of almost 30 degrees

The “veranillo” settles in large areas of the country with daytime temperatures clearly rising, which will favor more than twenty provincial capitals today reaching maximum values ​​between 25 and 32 degrees, and with a tendency to remain, and even increase the following days.

This Saturday, Seville will reach the peninsular maximum with 32 degrees followed by Córdoba and Badajoz with 31 degrees and Ourense with 30 degrees, according to data from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) that indicate that these are “high values” for the time , between 5 and 10 degrees above normal.

In Cáceres, Huelva and Pontevedra the thermometers will oscillate between 27 and 29 degrees, while in sixteen other capitals-Zaragoza, Zamora, Toledo, TarragonaPalma, Murcia, Madrid, Lugo, Lleida, León, Guadalajara, Granada, Girona, Ciudad Real, Cádiz and Barcelona- the maximum will move between 25 and 26 degrees.

On the contrary, the cooler atmosphere will be noticeable in Burgos, Donostia, Santander, Soria and Vitoria, where daytime temperatures will barely exceed 18-19 degrees; at night, Burgos and Palencia, with lows between 2 and 3 degrees, will be the coldest.

For tomorrow, slightly cloudy skies or with intervals of medium and high clouds will prevail in most of the country, and with maximum temperatures that “will generally rise”, except in the north of the Mediterranean area, where they will remain without significant changes; at night, the minimum rises in areas of the Meseta and in the Canary archipelago.

On this Sunday day, Badajoz will rise to 33 degrees, Seville to 32 degrees and Córdoba to 31 degrees, before a new and “sharp” increase in values ​​from Monday in the west of the peninsula, when Badajoz registers 35 degrees and Seville and Córdoba 33 degrees, Ourense 32 degrees, and in the interior of the peninsula, Toledo and Madrid reach 29 and 27 degrees, respectively.
