After two years of reinventing itself to live with the health crisis, the Fira del Vi de Falset returns in person during the weekend of April 29 to May 1.
This year it maintains its commitment to turning the entire region into a great wine showcase, with visits and tastings at the wineries that participate in the fair, and which will open their doors throughout the month of May.
During the weekend of the Fira, the Denominació d’Origen Montsant will organize two tastings to bring its wines to the visitors of the fair in an entertaining way.
The first will be a tasting of garnatxes and carinyenes that will take the participants on a journey through the different areas and the diversity of soils of the DO Montsant through its traditional varieties. It will be on Saturday 30 at 6:30 p.m., in the Wine Lover tent.
The other tasting, following the line of the last edition, will be a wine battle, but this time the participants will be all those who want to join the game.
Thus, each participant in the tasting will have to guess the maximum number of characteristics of each of the wines (varieties, vintages, areas…), which will be tasted blind.
A playful and fun way to get closer to Montsant wines and learn more about the DO. This tasting will take place on Sunday, May 1 at 12:15 p.m., also in the Wine Lover tent.
