Tarragona closes Holy Week with 85% tourist occupancy

The demarcation of Tarragona has closed Holy Week with an average tourist occupancy of 85% in hotels, campsites and apartments, according to a statement this Tuesday from the Tarragona Province Hospitality and Tourism Business Federation (FEHT).

The president of the entity, Berta Cabré, has positively valued the data although she has recalled that that of Easter 2019 has not been equaled and has highlighted that after two years of the pandemic “it seems that normality is returning”. The FEHT has underlined the importance of holding sports competitions in municipalities such as Salou, Cambrils and Vila-seca to guarantee occupation, as well as to “plan in advance” and deseasonalize tourism.
