Salou City Council has renewed its collaboration agreement with the Estació Nàutica Costa Daurada – Nàutic Parc. The mayor and president of the Municipal Tourist Board, Pere Granados, signed the agreement, together with the president of the Estació Nàutica Costa Daurada – Nàutic Parc , Joaquim Cristià. The director of the Municipal Tourist Services, Marc Espasa, and the manager of the entity, Jordi Rom, were also present.
The agreement has been signed individually with each City Council that forms part of the Nautical Station. These are: Salou, Cambrils, Mont-roig del Camp, Vandellòs i l’Hospitalet, la Ametlla de Mar, la Ampolla and Deltebre.
The signed document includes the objectives of the Nautical Station, which are: the promotion, structuring, cohesion and revitalization of tourism and nautical leisure in its sphere of influence; coordinate the action of the seven city councils and tourist boards, with the Costa Daurada Nautical Station, to offer a product made up of accommodation and activities for tourist stays at sea, throughout the area of the Nautical Station, diversifying the tourist offer to deseasonalise the season. Also, carry out the promotion of the activities of the associated companies, by attending fairs and workshops, press and fam trips, publishing catalogs, brochures and digital media; and, finally, marketing the nautical leisure products of the associated companies, using their own channels, agreements with agencies, tour operators and specialized platforms.
The Estació Nàutica Costa Daurada – Nàutic Parc has a general budget of income and expenses for this year 2022 of 121,000 euros, of which the municipalities provide a total subsidy of 70,000 euros, which corresponds to an amount of 10,000 euros for each municipality, and for the current year.
