The Firefighters have attended between 12 noon on Saturday and 10 this Sunday a total of 66 warnings due to the wind, most of them to remove fallen trees or clean up buildings. There have been no injuries.
Civil Protection has deactivated the Ventcat plan once the wind warning issued by the Meteorological Service of Catalonia has ended. Some of the strongest gusts during the episode have been recorded at the Fontrubí station (81.7 km/h), at Montmell (69.1 km/h), at Montserrat (66 km/h) and at the Vendrell (60 km/h).
The 112 emergency telephone number has received 67 calls due to the wind, the vast majority in Barcelonès, with 44. From the city of Barcelona, 41 have arrived. There have also been 4 calls from Girona and Olot, and 2 from Lleida, Oristà and Rialp.
The Fire Brigade services have been distributed among the northern metropolitan region (19), Girona (17), the southern metropolitan region (13), Tarragona (6), the central (8) and the Lleida (3).
