Adam Raga (TRRS) has started his participation in the Spanish Outdoor Championship in a very positive way, climbing to the podium in the two scoring days of the weekend in the town of Arteixo in A Coruña.
The rider from Ulldecona finished in second place on the first day, prevailing on the second, starring in a complete performance.
Jaime Busto (Vertigo) took the victory on Saturday leaving Adam Raga in second position with 13 points compared to the 6 added by the Basque. Jorge Casales (Scorpa) closed out the top three with just one more penalty than Raga.
But things changed on Sunday when Adam Raga outscored them all, accumulating 10 penalty points, Gabriel Marcelli (Montesa) slipped into second with 15 and Busto had to settle for third with 17.
Both days were held under impeccable organization by MC Arteixo, who prepared a technical but affordable route for all levels, with little waiting time for the riders and first-rate logistics.
Adam Raga concluded logically satisfied with his performance, “I am very happy with the weekend in general. On the first day I made a few more mistakes that prevented me from being higher, but on the second we achieved victory by polishing those details. I am very satisfied with the bike, the team and the form. There is a great rivalry, so we have to continue working in that direction to maintain the results”.
The next test of the Spanish Trial Championship will be held in Camprodon, the weekend of June 25 and 26.
